New Mike Shinoda Website Launches

Mike Shinoda has just launched a brand new personal website for his blog, photos, and artwork at www.mikeshinoda.com. This website was formerly just a link to purchase merchandise from Mike's art show, but new features have been integrated. This new website will be replacing Mike's old blog on the Fort Minor Myspace.

Dead By Sunrise Album Likely To Be Completed in 2008

In a new article posted by The Pulse of Radio, Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington has revealed that his highly anticipated solo album is still in production and will be finalized sometime during Spring of 2008, a time in which Linkin Park will take a much needed break from touring to focus on family and other ventures.

Things are still looking bleak for Minutes To Midnight and "Bleed It Out" this week.

M2M fell seven spots to #59 on the Billboard Top 200, while BIO stayed at #5 on the Modern Rock charts and fell one spot to #13 on the Mainstream Charts.

The one beacon of hope was "Shadow of the Day", which continued its snail-like climb up the Modern Rock charts with a one-spot jump to #9.

Mike Commemorates Hybrid Theory's 7th Anniversary

October 24th was the seven-year anniversary of the release of Linkin Park's debut album Hybrid Theory. The album has been by far the most successful of Linkin Park records, earning them a Diamond certification, the RIAA's highest accolade, by selling over ten million albums in the U.S. alone. Worldwide estimates have Hybrid Theory's sales numbers at around twenty million copies. To this day, the album accounts for around half of the band's fourty million plus albums sold worldwide.

Mike recently posted a nostalgic blog about the album's anniversary on the band's MySpace page, recounting early stories of the band's existence, and thanking fans for their commitment throughout the years. You can read the entire blog here.

Not much positive progress was made on this week's charts, as Minutes To Midnight fell four spots on the Top 200 Albums charts and "Bleed It Out" stayed at #2 and #4 on the Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts respectively. In "What I've Done" news, the single fell two spots on the Modern Rock charts and out of the top twenty on the Mainstream Rock tallies.

However, "Shadow of the Day" did leap onto the Modern Rock charts with a #27 entry. Expect it to enter the top twenty next week.
